🍝 Vinessence Gluten-Free Millet Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup Vinessence Gluten-Free Millet Pasta

1 tsp Olive Oil

½ cup Chopped Bell Peppers (Red, Yellow, Green)

ÂĽ cup Boiled Sweet Corn

½ cup Diced Tomatoes

2 cloves Garlic (minced)

1 tsp Mixed Italian Herbs

Salt & Pepper to taste

Optional: Grated Cheese or Vegan Cheese

Cooking Method

Boil Pasta

Add 1-2 tbsp of oil (Sunflower/ Olive oil) and salt to a pot of water. Add  Vinessence Millet pasta to boiling water. Cook for 3 minutes, drain excess water. Rinse the cooked pasta with cold water

Sauté Veggies
In a pan, heat olive oil. Add garlic and sauté until golden. Toss in chopped vegetables and cook for 3–4 minutes.

Add Flavors
Red Sauce or white sauce  can be blended  with cooked pasta.

Red sauce  preparation includes ,tomatoes, herbs, salt, and pepper. Cook until tomatoes soften.

White sauce can also be prepared using  milk, butter,  cheese, cornflour/oats and  herbs.

White Sauce recipe

To prepare white sauce for pasta, heat 2 tbsp butter.Add 3 tsp corn flour/wheat flour and cook gently to form a light dough with the butter.

Gradually add 1 cup milk and mix well, avoid lumps being formed, use a whisk if necessary. Add another cup of milk, stirring continuously to make a smooth sauce.

Now add ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp chilli flakes, ½ tsp salt and herbs such as oregano. Mix well making sure everything is well combined

Combine
Add cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. Let it cook together for a minute.

Serve
Top with cheese or herbs of choice. Serve hot and enjoy the wholesome taste!
